Heating/Ventilating/Air Conditioning (HVAC)

The efficiencies of new HVAC systems far exceed equipment from even a decade ago. This means that existing equipment with high maintenance costs, or aging systems where maintenance costs can be expected to rise in the near future, are equally good candidates for replacement.

These systems can be replaced with like systems or upgraded to other technologies that provide a higher energy efficiency and better temperature control.  Replacement of these systems can provide energy cost savings due to the installation of high efficiency equipment as well as avoided operational and maintenance costs.

Common HVAC improvements include:

  • unit ventilators
  • fan coil units
  • air handling units
  • packaged rooftop units
  • variable refrigerant flow (VRF)
  • split furnace/AC units
  • water source heat pumps
  • ground source heat pumps
