The Neosho County Community College Board of Trustees approved an energy performance contract with Energy Solutions Professionals Tuesday at its June regular meeting. 

The contract is for a project to upgrade several items on campus for improved energy efficiency and pay for it out of utility savings over a period of 10 years and four months, with financing handled by Signature Public Funding. 

The American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) recently released a case study outlining the outstanding energy-saving improvements made at Russell Regional Hospital. ESP teamed with the hospital to deliver a comprehensive project that dramatically reduced their utility costs and greatly improved the comfort of patients and staff.
